I hate Scan-x

I don't know why but every time I use the scan x something goes wrong. Like today the images scanned in completely wrong. The images were distorted. So on my FMX I had to retake half the xrays. I keep using the scanx becasuse I really do want to like it but I just can't. I haven't decided yet if I'll keep using it.

Then neither of my patients showed. They both pulled a "No Show" on me. So I scrambled to make due and it sort of worked out. It's just so frustrating when you confirm appointments and patients still dont' show. I just don't get it. Anyway, I need to be more positive because next week is mockboard #3 and I want a 100%. Ready or not, here it comes.

Finished with Class 3

Today I finished my class 3 requirements! All I have left to do is take 4 PA's, 4 quads of 1B, and 1 quad of a class 4, and one PE. That's it. It feels so great to be well ahead of schedule so that I don't have to stress. I want to keep seeing perio to keep up my skills and improve on them for boards. I've decided to pretend that every pt is a board pt. That way I push myself to really explore for calculus and be my own evaluator. I think it has helped too!

Class 4

Today I found a class four. I only did an OD today because she came late, didn't speak any english, and had a confusing health history. I did take four bitewings and one PA with the phosphor plates so that was the only productive thing I did today for requirements. I really hope this patient will come back. I'm sure she will I'm just nervous because I'm seeing her the 3rd to last and last days of clinic. I always get worried when time starts to run out.
